If you don’t believe in yourself, then who else will?

Happy Thursday y’all! Today we got a message from Eric, a wise young reader from NYC!! 👇👇👇

I’ve always been a firm believer in hard work and never felt I deserved anything that I did not work for.

I’ve also realized that people want change and results, but frankly the reality is not everyone is willing to put in the work.

We live in a world of instant gratification and, unfortunately, in a time where it’s easier for people to complain and hope something changes instead of doing something about it. But that is exactly the definition of “insanity” — doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

The differences between those who put in the work and those who choose not to, are glaringly obvious. That is the objectively harsh truth, after taking emotions out of the equation.

Understandably everyone’s situation is different, but what still holds true at the end of the day is that — everyone has a choice. Not taking action, is also a choice.

The biggest question you have to ask yourself is — how badly do you want something? Naysayers and debbie downers aside — if you don’t believe in yourself, then who else will?
