Honor thy Errors

One day, an engineer was designing a power meter for navy battleships… But he kept dropping springs on the ground, and he noticed the springs would bounce, bounce, bounce all over the floor…

And that’s how Richard James accidentally invented the slinky!

One day, two brothers accidentally left a pot of boiled grain on the stove for several days. The grain dried out and some parts became hard and crunchy…

And that’s how the Kellogg brothers accidentally invented Corn Flakes! (yummm… my favorite cereal)

*****

One day an engineer was researching radars using a vacuum tube. He thought it was a complete failure because every time he did an experiment the candy bars in his pocket would start melting.

And that’s how Percy Spencer accidentally invented the microwave!

We all make mistakes. Heck, I’ve made some huge ones in my life!

But some of them have led to some really cool things (and ALL of them have led to me being who I am today)

So the next time you screw up, remember this cool phrase they use in the artist community…

“Honor thy Error as a Hidden Intention”

Have a great day, y’all! I’m off to go screw some things up! ๐Ÿ™‚
