I used to be a clean freak about my car… 🚗 Always kept it tidy, vacuumed the inside, made it smell good, etc.
But…
Then I got a kid.
A messy kid. A kid who travels with handfuls of toys, snacks, books, spare clothes, and all types of other crap that messies a car.
Now my car is an absolute shit show. Wrappers everywhere, old face masks, cereal and crumbs in all the seat cracks… (I swear I found some fruit loops in the seat the other day… and WE DON’T EVEN BUY FRUIT LOOPS!) I have no clue where this mess comes from!!!
Anyway, this all used to annoy me. But, I’ve finally given in… I’ve learned to live with the mess.
Actually, I’ve learned to embrace the mess. Expect it. Be proud of it.
Because life is messy. And that’s OK. I wouldn’t trade my messy life for anything.

Not sure if you’ve got a messy car or life or situation right now. But I hope you can learn to find joy within the mess. It’s in there somewhere, you just need to look for it.
Happy Tuesday!!!

Last weekend we rented a 1956 Porsche Speedster for my father in law’s 70th birthday! (the kid wasn’t allowed in this car 😅)
