“How can I make your life easier?”
This is a really powerful question.
- Before your spouse leaves for work in the morning, ask them… “Is there anything I can do this morning to make your day easier?”
- At work while meeting with your boss… “what can I take off your plate to make your life easier?”
- When you meet someone at a networking event, ask them… “What’s your biggest pain point and how can I help make life easier?”
This question builds trust. It shows you have their back. And it makes them want to help you in return.
