Not getting enough sleep is like working all day on a complex excel spreadsheet and not hitting the save button.
Your brain needs rest to process and file away memories and events, so you can perform properly again the next day.
I think the same can be said about weekends and time off work. Relaxing and blowing off steam is critical to your mental health. Downtime allows you to process, reflect, and prepare for action again next week.
