Welp, I got some not so fun feedback from someone who unsubscribed recently 👇👇👇
As much as this sucks to hear as a content creator, maybe this person is kind of right… Sometimes I don’t try my hardest with these emails. Some days (more often than not lately) I’m barely scraping by in the morning, just trying to survive.
That being said, I’ve learned something very interesting while writing emails all these years… Sometimes I’ll spend 2 hours crafting what I think is an amazing epigram, only to hear crickets and have people hate it. Other times I’ll spend less than 3 minutes writing what I believe is a half-polished piece of shit, and somehow I’ll get piles of thankful responses and positive praise.
Nothing pleases everyone, every time. So yeah, some mornings I don’t try to. I work in the messy middle.
Anyway, I’m not sure how long you have been reading my notes. But I sincerely thank you, and i’m glad we somehow got connected. One day when these emails stop or you opt out, I hope you remember the good ones that helped you, not the ones you didn’t like (they were meant for someone else).
Wherever you are and whatever you’re up to today, I hope you’re loving life and spreading goodness. 🤗
