Good morning!
10 years ago I was in Hawaii for Memorial Day. Every year about 50,000 people gather at the beach and release floating lanterns to commemorate those who lost their lives in service.
It’s a beautiful sight! And a beautiful way to show respect.
I don’t have a physical lantern this year, but I do have an imaginary lantern! And I’ll be releasing it into the universe today along with some respect, appreciation, and thankfulness for the freedoms I have that other people died for.
Not sure what you’re getting up to today, but make it a great one! Happy Memorial Day,
Love, Joel.
