Stay busy planting seeds

The day you plant the seed is not the day you get to eat the fruit”

Quick reminders for today:

– Good things take time to grow.
– Just because you don’t see immediate results, it doesn’t mean you aren’t making progress!
– You are an extremely hard worker, which is an invaluable skill.
– Keep doing what you’re doing. You are on the right path!

Stay busy planting those seeds my friends. One day you’ll wake up inside a thriving forest bigger than you could ever dream of.

Happy Monday!

  • Planting a seed today. Or I guess, looking into what it will take to plant the seed. Looking at refinancing my rental houses. Rates are so low.

This whole thing started with an idle question to my bank lady. I asked about rates to re-fi our primary residence. I didn’t think they’d be low enough to justify a re-fi. But they came back with 2.5% for a 15yr fixed for our primary residence. So locked that in now and will re-fi. They are backed up so cannot close until beginning of December. But that seed will yield fruit for years to come. 2.5%!

Then in the course of those discussions I asked about rates on the rental houses. 3.125% for a 30yr fixed! This isn’t as straightforward because the houses are in an LLC. So need to do some investigating. Could be another seed to be planted.

    • Dude, that’s awesome!!! Good luck with your research and please let me know how it goes! My buddy just completed a refi on his rental property, buying down the rate so he could save a larger chuck in interest throughout the loan. I guest posted it here: Refinance Magic – Putting Equity to Work

LLC’s can get tricky so I understand if it doesn’t work out. For me, the rates aren’t quite low enough to justify a refi. It’s good because I know I’ve already got a great rate 🙂
