Surround yourself with encouraging people

Good morning! Happy happy Thursday!

Check out this email I got in response to the Why Not post from last week… It’s from Angie Kaschube.

When someone tells me I canโ€™t do something, I take it as a challenge! I once had a doctor basically tell me (with different words) that I was too old and too fat to start jogging. Um, I was in my 30โ€™s and had had two difficult pregnancies. Donโ€™t tell me what I cannot do!!!

So within a year I completed my first 5K race and Jogged a total of 6 5K Races. And got a new doctor.

And I have completed at least one 5K race every year since! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ

Never stop trying, no matter what other people say!

**Angie is a rockstar. I wrote back to her saying that my wife and I are currently doing 100 push-ups a day for fitness. She replied…**

Iโ€™ve been thinking about how you and your wife are working to accomplish your push-up goal *together*, and I was remembering that my husband was an amazing source of support and encouragement while I was training for my 5Ks. He started running a few years before me, and He was the reason I was able to begin (which is the hardest part!!) and keep going until I faced my very first 5K. Then he ran The Race at his own pace, got his own time, then he TURNED AROUND AND RAN THE RACE BACKWARDS until he met up with me and ran alongside me until I finished, speaking encouragement every step I took. Seriously. How incredible is that?

It is so important to surround ourselves with positive people who believe in us and encourage us to take risks and to never stop trying.

Iโ€™m so lucky to have that person be my husband! It sounds like you and your wife have found that in each other as well!

Thanks for sharing Angie! You are awesome!

Have a great day everyone! Don’t forget to surround yourself with people that believe in you!
